Home Depot, Baby! And Succulents.
You guys, I'm so in love with fall this year. I love the colors, the pumpkins, the plaid. I'm also loving that for the first time in months, it's acceptable to go outside in Arizona. The past few weekends I've only wanted to be outside, but if I have to be inside I want to decorate! And that folks, is how we ended up at Home Depot.
I think Grady has grown up in Home Depot, RodWorks and Merchant Square. We've dragged him to one of the three nearly every weekend since he was born. In his one year of life he's seen walls been shiplapped, rooms painted, furniture built, and our house turn into a home.
While we were there Jacob mentioned I should replant my succulents and that sparked what would become the Cupcake Tower Decorating Project of 2018.
Okay, maybe it's not THAT exciting but I had a lot of fun and it turned out great! It started out with just wanting to pot the succulents, then realizing I had a Magnolia gift card to use, and ended with a quick run to Target to grab some filler.
Need some succulent tips?
1. Don't paint the pot you plant them in! Succulents need to "breath"... plain pots are best.
2. There is special planting soil just for succulents.
3. Water and watch! Watch your succulents carefully after each watering. The day AFTER the soil is dry, water again! Don't over water!
