Let Him Sleep For When He Wakes He Will Move Mountains

When I first found out I was pregnant I had a reoccurring dream that the baby was a girl. Her name was Delilah and her room was feminine and floral. I continuously dreamed about how gorgeous her nursery was.

At my 12-week ultrasound (which I had at 13 weeks), Grady made it PRETTY obvious that he is a boy. I was so caught off guard! I was excited because I had always wanted my oldest child to be a boy, but I was surprised.

It was back to the mental drawing board for nursery ideas. Jacob and I had always viewed each stage of our relationship (dating, engagement, and marriage) as an adventure. This was going to be our biggest adventure yet... THEME DECIDED!

Only one problem... we were living in a rental, waiting for our house to be done. We moved into our house June 24th, the next weekend my mom and I got to work on the nursery. My mom is an amazing artist so she helped with the mountains. I was anxious the whole weekend as we painted, I wanted this baby's room done! (The doctors were telling me I could deliver any day).

In the end, the room all came together and it is a DREAM. It is my favorite room in the house. The colors are relaxing and Grady's window looks out at the neighborhood park. I look forward to the days when Grady looks out his bedroom window to see if his friends are at the park.
